Featuring a stunning combination of genuine Vancouver Island amber sea glass (found by me) and genuine English teal sea glass, this pendant is sure to remind you of the autumn sea.

Originally part of an earring pair, I recently agreed to convert them to pendants and this is the last remaining pendant of the pair.

(A note on the jump ring - as this pendant was converted after the sea glass was set and cannot be exposed to heat, the pendant hangs from a heavy 16 gauge unsoldered sterling silver jump ring.  This jump ring is very strong and will not come apart unless it is subject to abuse and abnormal wear).

The back has been hand engraved with leaves, making it an extra special statement piece.

The amber sea glass was collected by me, while living on Vancouver Island, and the teal sea glass piece were sourced from a reputable beach comber in England.

Encapsulated in a fine silver border, the sea glass rests on a sterling silver back plate.  Weight was kept in mind when choosing my silver materials and this pendant is not heavy around the neck at only 6 grams.

Chain sold separately **The pendant is pictured in most photos below with my oxidized sterling silver elongated cable chain which can be purchased separately in the "necklace chains section of my shop".  Also pictured is the oxidized beaded cable chain and leather cord.

Materials:

Fine silver bezel

22 gauge sterling silver back plate

Care:

Each piece of my sea glass jewelry has been specially constructed to withstand the test of time by putting it through a special process to ensure that tarnish will not form under the sea glass, but it is still important to avoid immersing your new sea glass piece in water.

Inspiration:

As the daylight fades and the warm days come to an end, rich fall ambers and browns cover the trees at the edge of the sea shore.

This is my inspiration for this newest one-of-a-kind jewelry collection.

Genuine Vancouver Island amber sea glass, collected by me, has been paired with genuine rare Icelandic teal sea glass, from a reputable sea glass collector in Iceland.

Amber sea glass historically comes from the early 1900s from sources such as liquor bottles, medicine bottles, and mason jars.

Teal sea glass comes from the early to late 1900s typically from mineral water, baking soda, ink bottles, various types of art glass, insulators, and fishing floats.
