Welcome here!  I'm Jenny, resident of the Oregon Coast, and the artist behind Moss Rock Metals.  I wanted to take a little time to share with you a little about myself and how I began my jewelry making journey.

Moss Rock Metals had its beginnings in the mountains of Montana and the forests and ocean of the Oregon Coast before I ever knew it would come to be.  

My earliest years were spent in the Rocky Mountains, while my teen years were spent living very near the Oregon Coast.

Years later, I married my Canadian husband and we moved to Vancouver Island.  It was here that I first observed a silversmith making a ring.  I was in awe and immediately signed up for silversmithing courses at our local jewelry school.

About that time, I began to discover sparkling “jewels” on my daily walks along the seashore and the rest is history!

It has become a great joy to combine my love of earthy beach stones and glowing sea glass with my nature inspired jewelry designs.  Each piece of sea glass and beach stone, has its own story to tell, and I also like to think I’m keeping our beaches just a little bit cleaner, with each piece of “trash” transformed into treasure.

My unique, earthy, jewelry demonstrates my attention to detail and the importance I see in creating high quality pieces for my valued clients.  My hope as an artist is that you will feel closer to the beautiful creation of the forest and the sea by wearing my jewelry.
