The suns rays shine down through the canopy of trees above, illuminating the never ending shades of green on the forest floor below.

A genuine fern fossil has been set in fine silver along with a beautiful  green tourmaline slice.  Glowing dark to light green, this tourmaline perfectly represents the forest light, shining down from the trees above to the forest floor below.

A hand etched fern and texturing add a special touch to the reverse side.

The stones are held in place with a fine silver border and solid 18k gold prongs.  A solid 18k gold ball accent sits atop the fern fossil setting.

The fossil was sourced from a small business in the USA who is know for his high quality lapidary art and the sea glass was found by me on Vancouver Island.

The quality green tourmaline slice was sourced from a reputable Oregon based gem seller. The fissure in the tourmaline is on the inside and does no affect the integrity of the stone.  The few teeny tiny divots in the surface are natural to the stone and only add to its character.

Chain changes/alterations may delay shipping and not all chain requests may be able to be accommodated but I will do my best (see chain note below).

Materials:

Pendant: sterling, fine silver, and 18k solid gold prongs/accent

Stone: high quality genuine fern fossil/ green tourmaline slice

Chain material: sterling silver 3.2mm long and short chain

Chain Length: best at 20" or up to 22"

The chain can be worn as short or as long as you like (up to 22") but due to the affixed chain type, adjusting it too short will cause the extender to be off center at the back (I can adjust the chain to a preferred length before shipping if you prefer a different length).

Dimensions: 2" (from top of bail to bottom of pendant) and just over 1" at its widest

Weight: 26 grams

All metals used are engraved on the reverse of my makers mark tag.

Care:

Each piece of my jewelry that includes translucent stones has been specially constructed to withstand the test of time by putting it through a special process to ensure that tarnish will not form under the stone, but it is still important to avoid immersing your new sea glass piece in water.
