The East Sooke Park Ring is made especially for you in your size. Because of the wider band design, I prefer this style of ring 3/4 of a size larger than my finger size. This is only a suggestion, if you are unsure of your size please contact me after your order.
This ring is made-to-order with a Vancouver Island basalt beach stone, formed and shaped by the ocean waves and found by me, and although my collection is all about Oregon, I couldn't resist including this beautiful ring as it is a perfect match for my Oregon basalt feather pendant .
The pictures of the finished ring are an example of what you will receive. The stone pictured resting on top of my middle finger is the actual stone you will receive in your new ring.
Memories of warm summer days and dipping my toes in the icy cold ocean. These are the memories that this beautiful matte black beach stone carries for me.
I found it at one of the most beautiful places, on Vancouver Island, East Sooke Park. This park is one of my favorite places. While you hike along the ocean trail, you can sometimes see orcas and sea lions swimming by, and the Olympic Mountains rise above the sea in the distance.
Each individual line on the band is hand stamped and is essentially a tiny sketch, imbedded into the silver, with my chisel and hammer. When I can't be near the sea, I love to wear jewelry that still makes me feel connected to nature, now you can too.
Your new ring will be completely handcrafted from completely sterling silver with the exception of the fine silver that encapsulates the stone. The ring band will come with my makers mark stamped on the inside.
Approximate band measurements: 12 mm on the side at the widest point and 8mm at the most narrow point in the back.
The ring band will be made with 16 gauge sterling silver which makes a nice weight heavy duty band as well as a heavy 16 gauge back plate.
Stone measurements: 20 mm high x 15 mm wide.
