A pendant for lovers of the forest, those who love to look for the mysterious faces of trees as they walk by and listen closely for the wisdom and secrets they might whisper. If you listen closely enough this pendant may just whisper it's secrets to you.
The tree on this pendant was completely hand crafted and created by first sawing it by hand from sterling silver sheet and soldering pieces sterling silver wire on top to give it dimension.
After the long process of carving and smoothing the silver from its sharp edges, the tree roots and branches were formed and shaped to hold the stone. Having the appearance of tree rings, this flawless Imperial Jasper stone is a perfect match for the carved tree.
The stone has muted shades of browns, to grayish blue, to creams.
The chain: Each link in the sterling silver bar and link chain was hand textured by me to make it fit with the overall appearance of the pendant. A hand forged tag, stamped with my makers mark, hangs from the las link on the chain.
Chain measures 17 inches and has the option of extending to 19 inches.
Pendant measurements: 1.5 inches across by 1 inch wide.
