A genuine fern fossil has been set in sterling silver with a hand pierced fern detail on the reverse. High quality jewelers brass prongs hold the fossil secure in its setting. The sterling silver bezel walls were meticulously formed to the curvature of the fossil and the brass prongs were offset for visual interest.
The fossil was sourced from a small business in the USA who is know for his high quality lapidary art.
