The process used to add the gold to the silver is called Keum-boo. Keum-boo is an ancient Korean gilding technique used to add pure gold to fine silver. Throughout the process, the gold forms a fusion bond with the silver, making it a highly durable heirloom piece. These pieces have been oxidized to bring out the beautiful natural textures in the petals The perfect earrings for any garden or nature lover. To ensure long lasting jewelry, all of my pieces are coated with a museum grade anti-tarnish wax.
