The story behind the pendant:
When I was little, we lived in the mountains of Montana—far from the sea. But my mom had this big conch shell. She told me if I held it to my ear, I could hear the ocean.
So I did. And somehow… I could.
It wasn’t real, of course—but it transported me. To a place I’d never been, but somehow knew. A place with salty air, crashing waves, and that deep, quiet feeling of calm.
Now, all these years later, I’ve created a seashell of my own—this one forged by hand, with hammers and fire, shaped by the memory of the coast. You might not hear the ocean when you hold it up to your ear… but I hope it brings you back to the coastal places you feel most at home.
About the sea shell:
This shell is not cast, it was sculpted using hammers, sterling silver, and fire.
Carved and oxidized detailing add depth and beauty to this unique piece.
