This pair of sterling silver stud earrings features two deep black Vancouver Island basalt beach stones, both found by me and set in sterling and fine silver, with sterling silver posts.
Encapsulated in a fine shiny silver border, the sea glass rests on a sterling silver back plate.

Materials:
Fine silver bezel
22 gauge sterling silver back plate (0.6 mm)
Sterling silver posts (19 gauge) and 5mm push backs. Larger 7mm sterling silver backs are available for purchase through this listing. I prefer these with my sea glass and beach stone studs because the backs fit a little tighter on the posts and hold the studs snug against my ears.
